Jeremy Rennells and the CES Letter

Jeremy Runnels was a Mormon missionary to the deaf in New York City. He is deaf himself and uses a combination of hearing aids and lip-reading. When he came home he discovered his brother was in a "Faith Crisis" (was confused by anti-Mormon information) and decided to try to help him by finding answers to Anti-Mormon questions. Big mistake. Jeremy wrote to a Institute of Religion instructor, the only men trained in Mormon doctrine and history, for answers. The instructor promised to "get back to him soon" wit the answers. The instructor never "got back" and didn't return Jeremy's emails after that. Jeremy eventually lost faith in Mormonism and wrote "Letter to a CES Teacher" which outlined the major "problems" in Mormon doctrine and history, in The Book of Mormon and The Book of Abraham. After the Letter was published his Stake President decided to excommunicate Jeremy, but at the Church Court Jeremy resigned and they accepted it. The book "CES LETTER" is the best "one stop" if you want to know all the major reasons why Mormonism is a man-made religion. Jeremy sells it online and also offers a free html version to read online. The book also comes in Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Finnish, and a few other languages.

You can order a copy of CES LETTER or read the free version online by going to: cesletter.org

Mormonish

Mormonish is an Ex-Mormon podcast along the same lines as the other podcasts. The hosts are Rebecca and Landon: two former active Mormons, who are no longer believers. They do interviews and have discussions panels. They have done a lot about the Church's temple building program and how the Church threatens to sue and sues any community that opposes a temple being built in that community (ie. the Church as legal bully).
